Samples of Genealogy Work

On this page, there are links to example work products. In addition, the result of my largest research project can be seen at the website of The Genealogical Society of Old Tryon County called The Pioneer Children of Thomas Martin Jr.

Report of Research Findings from Consulting Hours

If a client has a need for research on a specific individual or a family line, we can work together to design a research consulting agreement. From this project I will provide a detailed report of the research done and the findings. The report provided from this work is similar to the research report mentioned below, but may also include copies of documents and other items as agreed upon.

Here is an example of a research report (other documents were provided separately).

Pedigree Chart from the starter package

A Family Tree starter project is perfect for the person who wants to jump start their family history research. In this project we gather information from the client such as names of parents and grandparents, and any other details already known. Using this information, I begin documenting the family.

The results given to the client include a genealogy database, a family pedigree chart, and family record sheets.

The client can then pick up the research on their own, if they want to continue building their family's history, or purchase additional research packages.

Here is an example of a Pedigree Chart which most people think of as the family tree. This is only one example of how a pedigree chart might look.

Report for Lineage Research Project

For clients who are interested in joining a lineage society, such as the Daughters of the American Revolution, or others, I can provide a package of documentation and a report of findings that will support your application for membership.

This is an example of a research report.

Other Report Examples

An analysis of evidence and research still needed from a lineage study.

A research plan for a brick wall problem.

Ancestor Wall Chart

Show off your family tree with a poster-sized ancestor wall chart.

If you have empty spots, I can help you fill them, or we can just print what you have now and reprint again later. Those empty spots might motivate you!

In the example chart, I used a family photo for the background. The size of this printed chart is 36 inches by 24 inches. We can work together to get just the look you want.
